Founded I. Fischer & Co. in 1958 and until 1997 was a co-managing partner of the firm. Over the years has focused his practice on representing foreign investors in business and commercial matters in Israel, as well as on probate, trusts and estate law. Has more than 50 years of experience in litigation before Israeli courts. Served for many years as the Chief Judge of a Military Tribunal of the Israel Defense Forces, and as President of a Military District Court (1968-1982). Throughout the years has participated in numerous bar committees on a wide variety of issues. Was recently designated by the Israel Bar Association as its representative with respect to its relationship with the German Federal Bar and with the German Bar Association. Also served as a representative of the Israel Bar Association on a committee of the Israeli Parliament regarding judicial procedure in Israel.
